Housing for Women Welcomes Two New Members to its Executive Team

Housing for Women is delighted to announce two new additions to the executive team, Jon Hemming, Interim Director of Asset Management, and Hony Premlal, Interim Director of Customer Services.

Jon brings with him 25 years’ experience in housing, construction and property management. His responsibilities include the delivery of Housing for Women’s asset strategy, property maintenance as well as major repairs and investment programmes.

Hony brings a wealth of expertise and skills having worked for housing associations in London, Kent and Bournemouth. Her 21 years of sector experience spans improving customer experience, change management and four years as a board director. Hony’s responsibilities include customer service, tenancy management, day-to-day repairs and income management.

Commenting on the new appointments, Zaiba Qureshi, Chief Executive of Housing for Women, said: “Our mission to empower women by providing quality homes and services to women disadvantaged in the housing market, is of crucial importance to the social housing sector. A strong executive team will ensure we can continue to challenge inequalities faced by women and provide affordable homes to those who need it most. I am delighted to have two new experienced team members equipped to help deliver our organisation’s ambitious strategy.”
