Housing Officer (Income Management)

Housing Officer (Generic) with lead responsibility for Income Management – Full time 35 hours – Permanent Contract  –  Starting from £28,200 per annum – Based in Brixton


Housing for Women is a dynamic and growing housing association with a specialist focus, providing over 850 affordable homes for women and their dependants across eight London boroughs.


We are looking for an experienced generic Housing Officer with lead responsibility for Income Management to join our Housing and Income Team to deliver quality housing services; delivering a full income management service including serving of notices, using Possession Claims on Line, DIY possession claims, attending Court working in collaboration with external agencies (Universal Credit, Housing Benefit etc.) you will deliver excellent services for our residents.


You will have a good working knowledge of Housing Law, Welfare Reform and housing management best practice. You will need to be able to prioritise and be responsible for your own workload, which involves travel across several boroughs, along with strong IT and communication skills.
