Procurement and Contracts Manager – Full–Time - Fixed Term Contract - 12 Months – up to £46,000 per annum – Based in London.
Housing for Women are seeking a 12 month fixed term Procurement and Contracts Manager to establish excellent practice and systems and generate savings in the order of 250k over the following three years.
This post will focus on the procurement of the core services areas of cleaning and grounds maintenance as a project as well as a wider review of all existing arrangements and agreements for everything from stationery to security staff to utilities.
Major works programmes are being procured by our asset management and planning consultants and current contracts are in place for a number of mechanical and electrical compliance service areas. This post is very much about looking at the aggregate of multiple small supply arrangements and contracts due for renewal to identify ways of generating better value through reduced overall contract values and increased value through efficiency savings as well as quality of service.
This could be a post well suited as a secondment from a larger organisation to gain additional experience or as a social investment in the social housing and charity sector.
The post holder will work closely with the organisation’s Compliance Officer.
