Housing for Women relies on grants from a variety of trusts and foundations to deliver vital services to women and children at risk of violence.
How Trusts and Foundations can help:
Without the support of trusts and foundations, Housing for Women could not deliver life-changing services to vulnerable ex-offenders, victims of trafficking and children affected by domestic violence.
This year, we secured funding from the Big Lottery Fund Women and Girls Initiative to deliver a new service supporting women leaving prison with substance use issues and/or mental health problems. Starting in February 2017, ReConnect will provide residential support to 10 women every year, so they can increase their confidence and prevent re-offending.
We seek to build partnership with trusts and foundations to ensure vulnerable women and their children continue to receive the in-depth support they need to overcome trauma.
