Sadly, this year we will be saying goodbye to our Chief Executive, Liz Clarson, who is retiring after 15 years with Housing for Women.
During her time as Chief Executive, Liz has presided over enormous changes at Housing for Women. The Association has almost doubled the number of homes it provides and branched out into other areas of women’s housing need. We now offer emergency accommodation for women experiencing domestic violence and help for women who have been trafficked as sex workers, as well as those leaving prison. While these projects are not the main focus of our work they contribute to integrating often marginalized women back into society and work. Liz has provided a steady and calming leadership of Housing for Women through many changes and periods of upheaval and we all wish her a long and happy retirement.
The site is under reconstruction and improvement. Please be patient while this is taking place. We will be adding back the contact forms and repair forms as soon as possible.
