We have a dedicated worker who provides advice and support to older tenants living in our properties. She helps with a range of issues from welfare benefits, ensuring tenants receive appropriate social care and advising on housing options. She is supported in her work by a former Board member, who volunteers with social activities. She can also advise on minor modifications to your home or arrange for visits by specilaist Occupational Therapists. We have already modified a number of our homes to provide a better service to meet a range of needs.
If you are a tenant of Housing for Women and over 65 and need additional support in order to be able to live independently and enjoy life to the full in your local community, our Older Tenants' Worker will be delighted to help you.
