Housing for Women, the charity and housing provider with a mission to empower women and challenge inequality, today announces the launch of two fundraising campaigns to celebrate its 85th Anniversary.
The COVID-19 outbreak has seen an increased need for Housing for Women's life-changing housing and support services for women across London. As a result, there has been a direct impact on the way we have been able to deliver our services. Therefore, Housing for Women needs your help to continue our support for women and their children including; those escaping violence, abuse and trafficking, older women living in isolation and women in social housing in London.
From 23 June 2020 (International Olympic day), we are calling on everyone to get active and take our "Keep Up Challenge"!
To mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, from 26 June 2020, we are asking for you to donate just one day's fare of your weekly commute. If you are now able to work from home, why not "Share your Fare"?
Housing for Women aims to raise £15,000 from this campaign and is encouraging supporters to turn their small change into lasting change. Please help women in London to access the housing and support services they need.
As part of our 85th Anniversary celebrations, we have given our branding a makeover which went live earlier this month; head over to our website www.hfw.org.uk to see our new look.
