Our new repairs and maintenance service

We are thrilled to announce that we have started our journey to mobilise our new repairs and maintenance with our selected delivery partners MCP Property Services.  By the end of October 2021 MCP will be delivering all the repairs and maintenance in your homes.


Who are MCP?

MCP have a strong reputation across the social housing sector and pride themselves on people-centred delivery. They are a family-run business, who share our values and we are over the moon to be working with them. You can find out more about them here.


What to expect from the new service?

We have listened to your feedback about the delivery of our repairs service over the past few years and have been working to establish the best way to deliver improvement. This relationship with MCP will provide residents with a seamless service including confirmed appointments at first point of contact with the goal of “self-service” management of repairs appointments for residents in the future. MCP are also committed to delivering most repairs through their own team, rather than sub- contractors. We feel confident that we will be able to build a positive long long-term partnership, beginning with a dedicated ‘Housing for Women team’ of MCP staff, which will result in a better service for all residents.


What to expect in the meantime?

Any repairs that have already been reported and booked in will be completed as usual together with any health & safety/emergency repairs. Newly reported non-emergency repairs and maintenance jobs will be issued to MCP. They will be given your contact details and will be in touch to book an appointment with you before the service officially starts  in October 2021. This means some non-emergency repairs may take slightly longer than normal to complete and we thank you in advance for your patience during this time. What happens next?

We will keep you up to date with progress as we get MCP up and running. We would appreciate your feedback and engagement throughout this process and are inviting residents to be part of a focus group on repairs service improvement.
