Welcome to our newest board member

Published 06 December 2019

At Housing for Women we are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Sally East as the newest Housing for Women board member.

Having qualified in practice at Horwath Clarke Whitehill, Sally has spent extensive time working within the charity sector working for both large (Amnesty International, British Council) and small charities (Help the Musicians UK, Police Now, RAFT).

She currently works for ARHAG Housing Association, a niche Housing Association striving to support migrants and refugees across London.

Sally is currently undertaking an Open University Law degree. She loves being a leader and enjoys the daily challenges of Finance, HR and IT. She very much looks forward to being a Trustee with Housing for Women and being a part of our journey.

We welcome Sally to the Housing for Women board and are looking forward to working with her.

Commenting on the news, Dr Sally East, said: "I am honoured to be a trustee for Housing for Women and being part of their journey improving the lives of women."

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Safeena Allison for her contributions to the board over the years, as she steps down.
