Support Worker (Domestic Violence and Abuse) - 37.5 hours per week -  FTC March 2019 -  Starting from £23,818 (FTE) - Based in Greenwich

Housing for Women is a London based Charity and Housing Association providing over 900 homes for women and their families as well housing and specialist support for women who are escaping domestic abuse, been trafficked or released from prison.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Working alongside the team to provide a safe and empowering environment for women and their children/dependents who are/have experienced domestic abuse either in their own homes or in a refuge setting.
  • Delivering quality support services for Housing for Women within the standards and contract assessment and monitoring framework set out by our Commissioners and funders.
  • Contributing to the implementation of the team’s aims and objectives and operational policies and procedures in such a way that they contribute to the mission of Housing for Women and deliver on business plan objectives.
