We support women with complex needs on release from prison. Liaising with the Probation Service and prisons, our work starts prior to release so that we can help women to access and receive support from local substance misuse services, community mental health services, GPs and counselling.
ReConnect offers supported accommodation, holistic support and engagement in group programmes in the community.
We help provide women with a period of stability and routine so that they can re-orientate their lives, establish wider support networks and prevent re-offending.
We liaise with Probation Officers and Local authorities as well as accompanying women to their appointments to help improve confidence and independent living skills, reduce substance misuse, address mental health issues and improve emotional well-being.
ReConnect launched in April 2017 in partnership with Thames Reach.
