ReVive is an innovative pilot project designed specifically to support LBTQI+ Survivors of domestic abuse and violence, running till September 2018.

Who we help

In Partnership with Metro, we provide services to residents of Lewisham, Greenwich and Merton, who identify as LBTQI+.

How we help

We support survivors to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence that they need to break the cycle of abuse, forever.

We recognise that there is a real lack of services tailored to suit the needs of the LBTQI+ community, who frequently face multiple and complex disadvantages.

We offer a range of holistic support services including advice, support and guidance on subjects ranging from safety planning and housing issues to legal services and domestic abuse awareness.

We also offer professional training aimed at increasing competency in engaging with LGBTQI+ service users.

ReVive is funded by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport.

ReVive Group

ReVive runs a 10 week support group for LBTQI+ survivors of domestic violence and abuse to residents of Greenwich, Lewisham and Merton. The group is an LGBTQI+ inclusive space, run by LBTQI+ facilitators.

“I would really recommend Housing for Women training on best practices for working with LGBTQI+ people. Good to refresh understanding and language and spend time thinking about assumptions and areas where the LGBTQI+ experience is sidelined.”

- Madeleine Spink, Against Sexual Violence Project Coordinator, Goldsmiths University of London
