We are  committed to involving you in aspects of our service delivery so that we can continue to improve it. We encourage all residents to participate in resident involvement and offer a variety of activities:

Join our Customer Panel

The Customer Panel gives our residents a role in helping us to improve our standards and performance. Residents can influence the way Housing for Women delivers housing and related services, ensuring your views and priorities are at the heart of our work.


What does the Customer Panel do?

  • Monitors Housing for Women performance
  • Reviews and scrutinises services
  • Suggests improvements

What skills do you need to join the Panel?

  • Basic English skills
  • Keen to improve services
  • Enthusiastic and committed
  • Ability to interpret information
  • Can commit 2 hours a month


A typical review takes three to six months to carry out, and we do ask for a commitment of a few hours a month to attend meetings. Your travel and out of pocket expenses will be paid.

Armchair Commentator

You can get involved from the comfort of your own home using a smart phone, tablet, computer or via post, by becoming an Armchair Commentator. We will be gathering feedback from Armchair Commentators on their experiences of using Housing for Women services and their opinion on the quality of our services.

All Housing for Women residents can access the free Tpas resources hub.

Tpas are the tenant engagement experts, providing ongoing support and guidance to help you to be involved with your landlord,  lead on activity in your community and improve services.
