Join The London Walk and help end homelessness

Published 03 February 2025

500 people. Three distances. One reason: to end homelessness in London. Will you join us?

On Friday, 14 March 2025, Housing for Women will join the London Walk, an inspiring event organised by the London Homeless Collective. Walk with us and take steps towards brighter tomorrows.

Choose your challenge

Pick from three routes in Central London: 10K, half marathon, or full marathon. Starting and ending at The Connection at St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, the walk highlights the challenges homeless people face, especially young people, trans people, and women, who are at higher risk of violence.

Why we walk

Housing for Women believes everyone deserves affordable housing. Women face unique challenges such as lower incomes, caring responsibilities, and the effects of domestic abuse. Since 1934, we’ve worked towards a world where everyone has a safe home, and violence against women is no longer tolerated.

How to get involved

Registration costs £30, with sponsorship targets: £200 (10K), £300 (half marathon), and £400 (full marathon). For example, £300 could fund a week of refuge for a woman escaping violence.
